You can share your social media promo code with Amazon Influencers and Associates to drive the additional traffic to your promotion.
To share your promo code with Amazon Influencers and Associates, first create a social media promo code and use the 'Share this promo code with' option to select 'Amazon Influencers and Associates'. For newly created promo codes, we automatically opt it in to be shared with relevant influencers and associates.
If you create a promo code that you do not want to share with influencers or associates, opt-out when creating it by unselecting this option. You cannot change your decision to opt-in or opt-out once your promotion is created or cancelled.
Once your promo code is approved, we share it on the Associates Central, where influencers and associates can browse by product category and share links to any relevant promo codes with their audience. If there are relevant influencers or associates interested in your products, we can notify them about your promotion through email with instructions on how to share with their audience.
Note: Participating does not guarantee that influencers or associates will post about your promotion, it is up to their discretion to share with their audience or not. At this time, there is no fee for using this feature.
As a best practice, we recommend that your promotion should be active for at least two weeks to find relevant influencers who can curate content and post your promotion.
For reporting, you can download a sales report per promo code. Navigate to Advertising > Promotions > Manage Your Promotions > View desired promotion and click Download Report . To see if your promotion was shared by an associate or influencer, look for the 'Referred by Associate/Influencer' column. You can only see this column if you opt your promotion in to be shared with influencers and associates. An order will be marked as 'Y' if it was referred by an influencer or associate.
