Upload and Manage Videos
How long does it take for the videos to appear on my detail pages?
We will process and review all uploaded videos. Review typically takes less than a day, but it might take up to seven business days or more during peak periods.
Note: If your video has been in Live status for 24 hours but hasn’t shown up on the detail page for your products yet, check the number of images present for your product. If there are more than six images, remove some to prioritize your video. Please allow at least 24 hours for your video to appear.
Can my video and/or metadata contain external links?
Videos cannot include any web links, URLs, or calls to action that direct the customer away from the product detail page. For more information see the Video Content Policy.
How do I find the rejection reason for my video?
To view rejection reasons:
Go to the Upload & Manage Videos page
Search for the video
Click “Manage” on the video row
See rejection reason on the top of the screen
How do I update my video after it has been rejected?
We do not support edits to the video file. If you need to update the video, you must re-upload the video.
How can I update the thumbnail for a video?
Upon upload, a thumbnail will be auto generated for the video. If you decide to replace it, click on the thumbnail to upload an image. You must use a high quality image in either .jpg or .png format.
How do I remove a single video associated to multiple ASINs?
You can either delete the video or remove the ASINs from the video.
To delete the video:
Go to the Upload & Manage Videos page
Search for the video
Click “Delete” on the video row
Note: This option will completely remove the video from all product pages
To remove specific ASINs:
Go to the Upload & Manage Videos page
Search for the video
Click “Manage” on the video row
Remove ASINs and save
Note: All videos must be associated with at least one ASIN
Can I edit a video?
You can change the title and ASIN association after the video is live:
Go to the Upload & Manage Videos page
Search for the video
Make any changes
All edits will be reprocessed for review.
We do not support edits to the video file. If you need to update the video, you must re-upload the video.
How do I add a single video to multiple ASINs?
At upload, include all the ASINs that should be associated with the video.
If you’d like to add ASINs after a video is Live:
Go to the Upload & Manage Videos page
Search for the video
Click “Manage” on the video row
Add ASINs and save
Can I bulk upload video files?
Bulk upload is not currently supported for videos.
How many videos and images can be added to the Image Block?
In order for a video to show in the Image Block, there must be less than 6 images. Up to 10 videos can be uploaded to display as well.
How is the order of the videos determined on the Details Page?
The Details Page will always prioritize the most recently uploaded video
I uploaded a video using "Upload your video" on the Detail Page and want it removed or edited
The video upload option is meant for Customers. For any future uploads, be sure to follow the Upload a video instructions.
To remove video erroneously uploaded through other entry points:
Log into the account used to upload
Navigate to “Your Account”
Click “Your uploaded product videos”
Select Edit and the Deactie Video
Can I remove videos from Detail Pages?
We do not allow anyone to remove other videos unless they directly violate community guidelines or the Video Content Policy. If you believe the video is in violation of one or more policies, please report the video.
